**What is the Role?**
This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe
You will join a Renewables business that is growing across Southern European; Spain, France, Italy and Greece. The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. Our main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.
As Energy Analyst you will support the development, design and optimization of solar PV projects. You will manage a portfolio of projects in different development stages.
Your main accountabilities may include:
- Performing energy yield estimations of solar plants according state of the art practices.
- Designing and optimizing solar PV plants including technology selection, design criteria according to each project characteristics and requirements.
- Evaluation of new projects assessing it viability and supporting the portfolio development.
- Staying up to date on latest technology improvements and best industry practices.
- Coordinating the project development with other relevant areas in the company.
**What do I need?**
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Relevant Engineering or Technical Degree with experience within a similar engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and verbal
- An open mind-set willing to join international environment and interested in joining an intercultural team
- Skills and competences on continuous improvement, project management, initiative and proactivity, creativity, communication and dialogue, loyalty and integrity, responsibility and commitment
- Availability to travel
- Knowledge in solar software (PVSyst, PVCAD, PVCase, PV*SOL, PVGIS )
- Following aspects will be valued
- Knowledge in Python programming, Visual Basic, R language,...
- Knowledge in Global Mapper, AUTOCAD/QGIS/Global Mapper.
- GPS and compass handling.
