This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile engineer to work as Systems Engineer on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme.

Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), providing accurate positioning and timing information.

CETRA BASE is currently looking for 1 Systems Engineer to be part of the Galileo Engineering team.

The position is based in Madrid (Spain).

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Ground Segment integration based on customer requirements
- Ground Segment verification and validation
- SW installation and configuration on Windows and Linux environments
- SW functional analysis
- Test procedure execution
- SW anomalies analysis and troubleshooting
- To provide Technical Support to all activities
- To support on site coordination to identify and mitigate current issues

**Essential qualifications and experience**
- University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
- Experience in Integration, Verification and Validation of SW
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
- Good Knowledge of information security
- Excellent team worker
- Ability to work in a multicultural team
- Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
- Eligible for security clearance
- Availability to travel within Europe
