We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join our DevOps Tribe Organization. The position is based in Barcelona (full remote available within Spain) and will manage a team of 7 engineers across US, Spain and India. This is an amazing opportunity to support our flagship product Web of Science (20M+ hits/day), helping millions of students of higher education centers around the globe to advance on their studies.

DevOps culture has been adopted several years ago at Clarivate. You will leverage and contribute to a well-established set of practices where everything is automated (CI/CD, Containers, Cloud-Native) on the AWS infrastructure.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments- BSc/MSc degree in the field of computer science- 5+ years of experience implementing DevOps technologies and practices- 3+ years of experience managing a team- Excellent knowledge in:
- AWS-
- Linux-
- Docker and Container Orchestration (AWS ECS/EKS)-
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)-
- CI/CD Tools (preferably Jenkins Pipelines)-
- Configuration Management (Ansible)-
- Promote Diversity and Respect in the workplace- Ability to influence Development Teams to build quality and improve software delivery- Ability to manage complex tasks with high degree of autonomy

It would be great if you also had...- 3+ years working in the same role- Experience in working with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)- Experience on AWS Cloud Efficiency (AWS Cost Management)- Experience on DevSecOps (Veracode, Containers Security, Cloud Security, Patching strategies)

What will you be doing in this role?- Promote and use internal best practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management (IaC), AWS Cost Management and Security- Participate in the design of new solutions, including PoC of new technologies- Engage with Development Leads and agree on plans and priorities- Assign and track the teamwork using Kanban- Define Goals for each team member- Coaching and mentoring team members to succeed and grow as professionals

You will be supporting the development of “Web of Science” family of products

About the Team

You will be managing a team of 7 DevOps Engineers (US, Spain and India) and be part of a DevOps Organization/Tribe of more than 150 engineers.

External Stakeholders are Cloud Operations Team, Security, Production Operations, Development and Product Management.

Hours of Work

This is a Full-Time Employee contract with all benefits provided in Spain (Medical insurance, Sport/Transportation/Kindergarten discounts, Ticket Restaurant, 30 days vacation, etc).

It is 40hrs/week, reduced to 35hrs during Summer.

Normal working hours, it is important to have some overlap (at least 2hrs) with India and US.
