**As Category Manager for the Spanish & Portugal markets (Mifarma & Dosfarma websites), your responsibilities and duties will be**:
- Continuous improvement of the assortment (identification of the products and brands to be added/ removed through a detailed analysis of the sales and benchmark of the competition)
- You will conduct analyses to ensure that essential products are represented in all markets and margin targets are met
- Product development of all categories (Beauty; Health; Baby; Vitamins & Supplements; Food etc) and merchandising (category-tree, product pages, visuals, search engine optimization)
- Identify assortment opportunities (Products; Brands; New categories)
- Working closely with other departments such as Sales; CRM; Marketing; Content; Pricing and Finance.
- Identify, develop, and deliver offers that meet our ever-evolving customer needs.
- Implement new processes to optimize the performance of the assortment management.
- List and negotiate with new brands and suppliers (assortment selection, negotiation of purchasing costs)
**Core competency Requirements**:
- You have graduated from an engineering or business school.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Category Manager in retail (Beauty or Parapharmacy sector would be very appreciated).
- Proven experience in retail buying/category management within a comparable FMCG environment.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate/influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- You master Excel (and ideally Power BI, ERP tools, E-commerce platforms).
- Native Spanish and Fluent in English is compulsory.
