Data Analytics and Reporting Expert
Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the definition of the new analytical platform from Parques Reunidos
- Elaborate and validate any data model design that will be integrated on the analytical platform. Oversee, manage and version key deliverables and processes to build Parques Reunidos data model.
- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models. Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
- Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
- Collaborate on any committee related data, governance, reporting or analytics, creation contests and training for internal communication.
- Support analytical platform, in terms of platform itself with the technological support, defining data universes, new data assets, searching for patterns al correlations, register, validation and monitorization of new metadata in analytical platform. Track models in production for detecting re-training needs
- Effective interlocution with internal/external suppliers for the development of analytical models or data models.
- Participates and provides input to the analytical platform and collaborates in the selection processes of technology in the company.
- Effectively communicate understanding of the analytics, reporting requests and business needs to proactively research solutions and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Research industry trends, standard methodologies and review current analytical platform to effectively provide company staff analysis and recommend and implement potential improvements.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally in order to facilitate Analytics’ involvement with projects across all business areas and development of new analytical project opportunities.
- Providing technical leadership and support to other team members through organised training sessions, ad hoc project advice and support on making technical decisions
- Being accountable for the quality of the analytical platform and conducting and managing the quality assurance of the outputs produced by the analytical team
- Representing the Analytics team in various internal and external meetings to either present project work or provide analytical advice
- Ensuring knowledge and experience is shared within the team and the wider business
- Further developing technical skills, including modeling experience, reporting & analytical software and advanced analytical methods
**Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Degree in computer science, computer engineer or equivalent experience.
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics) or a scientific discipline with demonstration of excellent analytical skills
Languages:
- Spanish - Mother tongue.
- English: Fluent (B2 minimum, C1 preferred).
Computer Skills:
- NA
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience deploying reporting and analytical tools in any industry
- Experience in data modelling and database architectures. Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
- Experience with relational, no sql, cloud, real time, streaming, DataMart, datalikedatabases
- Experience with alteryx, dataiku, datarobot, databricks, H2O.ai, Azure machine learning
- Data science or data analytical knowledge
- Education on programming languages, such as R or Python
- Good understanding of statistical techniques commonly used
- Experience in a leadership position, including project management and team management
- Experience working in a collaborative environment, including supporting and teaching other team members
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Technological leadership and IT vision on analytical platforms
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints and with multiple priorities.
Others:
- Certification on any data cloud solution: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
- Education on analytics: master in Business Analytics, Data Science, Big Data
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Experience on Agile, Scrum, DevOps
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures and performance optimization techniques
- Experience developing or supporting analytical lifecycle platforms (as ML Flow or similar)
- Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Approaching high-level data challenges with a clear eye on what is important; employing the right approach/methods to make the maximum use
