**About the role**
As a Computer Vision Scientist at Lubrizol, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, developing and deploying cutting-edge image analysis and machine learning solutions. You’ll support the Lubrizol technical community by enabling data-driven decision making through computer vision, image processing, and data science. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and leading global initiatives.

You’ll lead the global Computer Vision Community of Practice, support enterprise-wide data stewardship, and contribute to high-impact projects across R&D, operations, and business functions. Your work will directly influence efficiency, innovation, and strategic decision making.

**About you**

**You will also bring**:

- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in computer vision, data science, machine learning, or a related field
- Strong coding skills in Python; knowledge of JavaScript, C++, SQL, and relational databases is a plus
- Ability to process and analyze complex data modalities (image, video, text, time series)
- Creativity, curiosity, and learning agility, especially in emerging AI concepts like Generative AI
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Strong deductive reasoning and leadership capabilities
