We are looking for a ”_Cyber Security Engineer_” who will offer service to a multinational pharmaceutical company.
**TASKS**:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the micro-segmentation system (Illumio), adjusting the security policy to reduce the attack surface and limit false positives.
- Integration of Microsegmentation into the rest of the security ecosystem, SIEM, Ticketing system, CMDB.
- Develop future automation of the Micro segmentation system to streamline and simplify processes and workflows.
- Lead projects and initiatives for continuous improvement of security posture.
- Lead architecture reviews of new cybersecurity solutions to ensure the Micro Segmentation solution meets service and customer needs.
- Analyze and interpret security related events, identifying trends and taking corrective action.
- Understand the framework and follow defined processes.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and ensure production in accordance with standard operating procedures and work instructions.
**SKILLS**:
- Professional experience of at least 3 years providing similar cyber security services environments.
- Solid experience managing Micro segmentation and / or Firewall technologies.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, common networking protocols and deep packet inspection technologies.
- Solid understanding of the principals of network security, firewalls, current threats, and working knowledge of security principals such as defence in depth and causes of security events.
- Programming experience in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Analytical thinking, good communication, problem solving, results oriented, agility and teamwork skills.
- Security certifications are desired but not mandatory.
**SCHEDULE**:
- 08h-17h from Monday to Friday (flexible)
- During COVID - Full-time remote.
- After COVID - 3 days of office work | 2 days by remote.
- Might travel 3-4 weeks per year.
