As Asset Owner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end service for IFRS17 and Solvency II.

You are part of a team that works agile in close cooperation with business and our development partners in supporting the chains. You are the owner of the complete IFRS17 chain, heading up a (virtual) team of BAU specialists and asset owners. This includes budget responsibility. The IFRS17 chain consists of several (modern) technologies, i.e. Big Data technology, Azure Cloud, Power BI, SAS and Oracle Financials. The Solvency II Oracle Data warehouse will migrate to the IFRS17 technology chain overtime.

You are a key member of the triangle that operates the IFRS17 chain; The Head of Finance - responsible for the interpretation of IASB rules to Atradius, The Head of Group Provisioning - responsible for the IFRS17 calculation, and you, the IFRS17 asset owner - responsible for the technical solutions for the business process. A key aspect is to establish consensus among stakeholders and/or project team members in relationship to assigned deliverables.

Whilst reporting to the Head of finance & compliance delivery in IT, you will work closely with the IFRS17 process owner, the Product Owners in the several business units, the Asset Owners in IT and the Enterprise Architects.

You will have plenty of opportunity to influence outcomes, and develop the function in a way that best fits the Atradius needs.

**In this position your key responsibilities will be**:

- Owner of the complete IFRS17 chain, heading up a (virtual) team of BAU specialists and asset owners. Be the “SaaS provider” to business for all components of the chain from data ingestion from the transactional source systems to reporting.
- Lead the IFRS17 and Solvency II teams, and provide direction to the teams as necessary
- Has the full authority on the technical solution of the Solvency II and IFRS17 chains, including the budget ownership.
- Is responsible for advising on the resourcing of the BAU organisation.
- Consultant of the Atradius business areas worldwide (ICP, CyC, etc) for IT solutions design, from documentation to implementation, thereby being the first line of contact for Business and IT
- Creates a culture of continuous improvement and leads the improvement initiatives
- Creates an environment in which solutions are addressed in a co-ordinated and pro-active fashion.
- Participate in knowledge proliferation within the team, and the BAU partner.
- Provides leadership and a collaborative approach to integrating the stakeholder needs with the solutions and facilitate communication across the service teams involved in operational and development related activities
- Supervises the quarterly Solvency II reporting process.
**What qualification should you have?**
- A background in data warehousing or data analysis or data processing within IT.
- An understanding of big data platforms and/or big data analytics is a pre
- Experience in Azure Cloud and with Cloud Governance principles on Information Security and Cost Control is a pre.
- A basic understanding of CI/CD tools and pipelines as well as change, release & configuration principles is a pre.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong leadership as the asset owner in DevOps teams, acting as a servant leader, whilst obtaining the trust of the teams and the Business.
- A strong personality and communicator who knows how to influence the stakeholders in Business and IT to achieve the goals for Atradius. You are used to work in a politically sensitive environment, are diplomatic whilst achieving the goals and what is best for the company.
