As the Head of Ethics and Compliance for **Iberia** and a member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:

- Role modeling our values of Takeda-ism, providing guidance (including insight on the regulatory environment, industry code and risk landscape) and driving strategy in line with our values-based decisions across the LOC.
- Fostering a speak-up culture, identifying emerging risks and developing risk mitigation strategies, escalating when needed.
- Delivering and implementing an effective compliance program in accordance with company standards and local requirements.
- Representing Takeda with Farmaindustria and actively engaging with the Global External Engagement teams (e.g., working with IFPMA, EFPIA, PhARMA).
- Leading and developing self and the E&C team under direct supervision.
- Overseeing and supporting the global Tech Ethics, Data Privacy, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Programs to ensure adequate coverage and implementation in the LOC.

To maintain independence Local E&C officers are supported by above LOC E&C and are expected to participate in Global and Regional GEC driven projects - supporting adoption of best practices and contributing to evolution of the Ethics & Compliance function.

Education, Experience & Skills:

- University Degree is Mandatory, preferably a Legal, Finance or Healthcare background
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English is Mandatory
- 8-10 years’ experience working in the Pharmaceutical or similar Healthcare sector
- Experience delivering and implementing an effective compliance program including risk assessment and risk tolerance decision making; policy implementation and interpretation; designing and delivering E&C training; conducting monitoring, identifying root causes and designing remediations; leading and/or supporting investigations
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., promotional compliance, data privacy, digital ethics, competition law, transparency disclosure reporting and other regulatory compliance risks) and working within the relevant National Pharmaceutical Code
- Deep insights into ethical business decision making and very strong stakeholder-facing interactions and leadership abilities
