**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- King’s College, The British School of Alicante, one of the most sought-after British schools in Spain, is seeking to appoint an inspiring, committed and passionate **Middle School Teacher (STEM)** from September 2025. This exciting position offers the opportunity to deliver **Science, Computing and Maths** to mixed-attainment groups in a supportive, innovative, and high-achieving school environment.- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
-Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality STEM lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.-
Inspire and challenge students across a wide range of attainment levels.-
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching.-
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners for whom English is an additional language.-
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school development and cross-curricular initiatives.-
Contribute actively to the pastoral life of the school and help nurture the “whole child.”-
Embrace the Inspired philosophy, giving equal value to academic, sporting, and artistic excellence.**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).-
Successful experience teaching in KS2 and/or KS3. -A strong grasp of the English National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.-
Passion for teaching and the belief that every student can succeed.-
Ability to differentiate effectively and support EAL learners.-
A proactive, collaborative attitude and commitment to professional development.-
