We are currently seeking a **Junior Quality Assurance Engineer** aiming to have a challenging and enriching professional experience in our QA team, part of the Product area

Based in Pamplona or Barcelona (Spain), you will be participating in delivering our product roadmap, securing a rock-solid retail solution by acting as a contributor to help guarantee customer success

**Position responsibilities**

The function of Junior Quality Assurance Engineer has the following key areas of responsibility.
- Participate in the design of new test cases to cover new developments of the Openbravo Retail product
- Participate in the maintenance of the existing test suite and collaborate on keeping the documentation of the test plan suite for the Openbravo Retail product up-to-date.
- Properly manage any departmental knowledge favoring the re-use of existing information.
- Refine and improve our quality procedures by reviewing current contents and proposing innovations
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Position requirements**

The professional we are seeking:

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications
- Knowledge of the basics of Quality Assurance (functional testing, defect reporting, development lifecycle). Previous experience in a similar position is a must for a Senior.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English is a must. French is a valuable plus
- Knowledge of software development with the following technologies is a valuable plus:
- Test automation in Cypress and/or in any other automation software
- Programming concepts including MVC architecture
- SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL
- GNU/Linux
- XML and HTML
- Knowledge of agile, in particular, Scrum, is a plus
- Analytical thinking & detail-oriented
- Ability to learn fast under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to meet/exceed deadlines
- Initiative, flexibility, and adaptability
