Abacum is transforming the way strategic finance (FP&A) teams plan and measure performance. This means solving some of the hardest problems around data automation, planning, scenario modelling, and performance tracking.

We started in 2020 and within just 1 year, we have grown to more than 70+ employees with 20+ nationalities, and we are looking to grow 10x again this year We've raised $30M+ from some of the world's top investors (Y-Combinator, Creandum, and Atomico).

**We are looking for...**:
...a **design researcher** to join our growing design team and help make Abacum the most useful, intuitive, and enjoyable finance experience for our customers.

We imagine someone **senior** (5+ years of relevant experience) with a **hybrid profile** (e.g. background in product or design) and a **passion for complex logical problems.** Someone **that knows **best practices** and can **adjust them to the reality** of a scaling fast-paced startup. Bonus points if you have worked on a **B2B** product.

**Being a Researcher at Abacum means...**:

- **Research generalist.** As a member of a small team, you know how to conduct generative and evaluative research, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. You're not afraid to facilitate working sessions, sketch concepts, and communicate insights.
- **End-to-end driver.** You don't just execute, but proactively identify teams' research needs, collect knowledge from different stakeholders (product, customer success, marketing, sales), and deliver insights that are relevant and actionable today.
