**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences.
- Specific/Additional training in Clinical Research and Data Science would be positively considered.
- Mandatory: fluency in English. Optional: fluency in Spanish and Catalan.

**Desired: -**

Accredited training in Good Clinical Practices in Clinical Research (GCP). Alternatively, training will be provided
upon recruitment.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Being proficient at using Excel, Access and RedCap based databases.

**Desired: -**

Prior experience in population sciences and/or data science studies
- Prior education in biostatistics will be positively considered.
- Fluent in R language for programming.
- High motivation to work in a multidisciplinary team, working closely to biomedical scientists, data scientists and
statisticians in the Oncology Data Science and the Prostate Cancer Translational Research Groups at VHIO

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Design and maintenance of clinico-genomics database for different tumor types, including specific projects in

the field of prostate cancer.
- Collection of clinical data from electronic patient records into different databases.

Support in the design and implementation of visualization tools for interrogating clinico-genomic databases.
- Support for maintaining existing databases in the Oncology Data Science Group, including clinical and

preclinical models registries.
- Support in projects aiming to integrate multi-omics data (imaging, digital pathology, genomics,.) towards a

comprehensive tumor characterization.

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 21 000 - 26 000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges
are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
