For our office in **Madrid** we are looking for a **Tax Manager (f/m/d) **to manage and facilitate the accurate preparation and filing of our company's tax forms within the Spanish market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading the tax compliance team in Spain, you will work in the preparation, review, and filling of all tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, etc) as well as in the tracking of filing obligations.
- Supervising and monitoring tax compliance in South Europe countries such as Portugal, Italy and Greece.
- Managing with external advisors the preparation of Transfer Pricing local files along South Europe.
- Managing and supervising tax assessments and audits raised by the local Tax Authorities.
- Monitoring SII data.
- Working closely with IT providers to enable automatic electronic filing of tax returns.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
- Prepare/ review year-end tax provisions.
- Assistant during due diligence transactions, International Tax structuring operations and tax planning processes.

**Requirements and qualifications.**:

- A university degree or equivalent certification in Business Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, Tax, Accounting or similar.
- At least 5-7 years of working experience in Tax Compliance & Reporting or similar position.
- Previous experience in companies in the energy sector is valuable.
- Knowledge of Spanish Gaap and IFRS accounting principles is valuable.
- A fluent English level.
- Microsoft Dynamics ERP knowledge is a plus.
