**Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Project Director to join their team on a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility construction project in Madrid.**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Based on site, you will be managing the main contractors, sub-contractors, designers and cost consultancies.
- Leading the project management team to ensure that the project cycle is completed and meets the agreed standards and objectives
- Creating an organisation structure to optimise the most efficient use of resources
- Preparing the budget for your department, and monitoring the financial performance of the project; rectifying any problems that arise
- Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all works are carried out to high standards, deadlines and budgets.
- Recommending improvements to departmental policies and procedures
**PROFILE**
- Degree qualified in Construction or Engineering
- Strong background within the construction industry, with experience of working on highly-technical large industrial buildings
- Significant experience working on EPC projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English
- A history of working for either main contractors or engineering consultancies
- The right to live and work in the EU
