Visualization Platform Manager

Through working with other platform and technical support teams, a strong profile in IT delivery can be built within the organization.

**Your role**

**As a Visualization Platform Manager your main responsibilities will involve**:

- Operations of shared visualization and BI platforms to ensure delivery of consistent level of service to different customers around the world
- Management of external resources for the delivery of the platform services
- Planning and coordination of system maintenance activities
- Responsibility for release management of the system and its components
- Supporting technical projects to ensure consistent design and implementation
- Responsibility for capacity management, and planning and implementation of platform upgrades, changes, and extensions
- Leading and coaching a small team of platform engineers
- Providing guidance and training to users as required
- Responsibility for continuous improvement and development of monitoring solutions
- Automating operation activities to simplify platform support
- Collaborating with audit and compliance execution activities

**Your Skills and Experience**

**As a Platform Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include**:

- University level education (Computer Sciences or equivalent)
- 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure related work, preferably 2nd line and above
- 5-6 years of working experience with Microstrategy, MS Power BI, SAP Business Objects or other visualization and BI tools
- Knowledge of ITIL & AGILE methodologies (certifications are a plus)
- Ability to drive technical excellence, pushing innovation and quality
- Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills at different levels and in multicultural and multi -location environment
- Good command of English language
