**Description**:
Hispasat, as part of the SpaceRISE consortium, is responsible for the technical implementation and ensuring the success of the IRIS² project, leveraging its extensive experience in satellite communications. This collaboration is essential to provide secure and reliable high-performance communication solutions to the European Union and its member states.

To be part of this project, we are looking for a 5G CN & Network Senior Engineer, whose responsibilities will be as follows:

- Define the 5G Core Network system requirements for a multi-orbit satellite system
- Define the high-level hardware and software architecture for the 5G CN
- Define implementation and test plans for proposed subsystem Technical follow-up of subcontractors activities related to design, requirements compliance, development and validation of the subsys-tems.
- Support to higher level integration of the subcontractor subsystems in the system

**Requirements**:

- Master’s Degree in either Telecommunications Engi-neering, Electrical Engi-neering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the telecom industry Proficiency of mobile network ar-chitecture; Core Network, Radio Access Network and associated ancillary services. Experience of 5G Core Architec-ture
- Knowledge and experience about virtualization and cloud platforms Expert knowledge of terrestrial wireless 3GPP standards
- Proven experience in implement-ing 3GPP subsystems of the Core network, in particular the re-source allocation and service or-chestration parts and control plane interfaces
- Experience in development and testing of 3GPP systems (4G or preferably 5G) Experience in implementing soft-ware for the terrestrial wireless telecom context Research and Development Pro-ject management experience Deep knowledge of 5G-NTN and New Radio Non-Terrestrial Net-works Knowledge about virtualization and cloud platforms Knowledge of satellite communi-cations Experienced in managing tech-nology projects
- Native to an EU member state and willing to undergo an EU secret clear-ance process.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, any other European lan-guage is considered as an asset
