Compliance Analyst - Internship (Barcelona)
At G4AL we develop exciting AAA blockchain games, as well as the tools to help gamers and game developers benefit from crypto. We are expanding, and are on the lookout for a QA Analyst to join our highly motivated team.
Based in Barcelona, the AML, Anti-fraud & Compliance Analyst will be in charge of carrying out the origin of the funds, the reputational analysis and the identification of the investors, customers & third parties of the platforms managed by G4AL (ICO, Exchanges, metaverses ), of the kick-off of key risk indicators, the monitoring and the preparation of the main reports and risk indicators (limits, concentration, warnings ).
Under the supervision of the director of compliance and risks, she/ he will prepare the Know Your Customer and compliance reports for the different operating committees. Rigor, sensitivity to risk, curiosity and accuracy are key to fulfilling the requirements of the job. Flexibility and interest are also requested to understand the ecosystems linked to the metaverse, blockchains, cryptocurrencies and information security in a highly innovative environment, typical of startups.
**Responsibilities**:
- Investigation (Due Diligence) of investors (individuals and legal entities) from the point of view of money laundering and fraud prevention, using its own methodology and with access to the Dow Jones Databases.
- Creation of the main risk indicators, monitoring, and preparation of monthly reports for the committees.
- Support to the manager in charge of relationships with investors to prepare the files (initial & follow up).
**About you**:
- Degree in economics, finance, or law. Spanish & English (Catalan will be appreciated).
- Previous experience in the banking sector, risk management or video games will be appreciated.
- MS Office, Dow Jones Databases.
- Certifications related to AML, risk control or compliance.
**Compensation, workload & timing**:
Internship, 20 h / week minimum
