**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES** - Conducts condition assessments on recurring basis to maintain data Sustainment Management Systems (SMS) BUILDER (Direct Condition Rating Assessment Matrix) currency. - Identifying Systems, Components and Sections to divide a Building into Systems and Components in accordance with the UNIFORMAT II classification for building elements. - Conducts inventory and the initial condition assessment of systems and components. - Extracts quantity (LF, SF, etc.) of system components from as-built drawings and blueprints and updates condition assessments sheets. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**: **Preferred**: - Shall have a Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of on-site construction experience. - Experience working in accordance with US Air Force regulations, specifications, and contract documents for all real property facilities on Moron Air Base, is desired. - Shall be familiar with Spanish/US Government building codes/safety/standards & requirements, and design/construction procedures is a plus. - Shall have general knowledge of the terminology/equipment nomenclature utilized for electrical components, utility components (HV/LV Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems, Lightning Protection Systems, Communication Systems Etc.). - Must be able to read and understand construction specifications and engineering drawings. - Skill in using computer hardware and software to include Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point/Project. -- Work in a "team" oriented environment, and under stressful conditions associated with critical deadlines and heavy workloads. - Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives without supervision, and resolve recurring problems. - Shall have knowledge on construction safety requirements. - Work from ladders, on roofs, in confined spaces, uses industrial equipment, and will work outside in adverse conditions. **Qualifications**: Spanish / Citizenship Capable to speak, read, write, and understand English Language “Minimum Level III” Have a current driver’s license. University Degree Diploma for Civil / Structural Engineering OR 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction. KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
