**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to ensure the standard work processes and procedures drive the successful transition of product manufacturing, quotations and orders for the Victaulic Spain business, maintaining superior customer service and delivery, ensuring consistent sales communication throughout the process, from the engineering department point of view.
- Coordinate and complete all drawing activity and communicate with global design teams to insure product drawings meet current standards and best practices while supporting customer requirements
- Support and monitor the operations and activities of valves design and manufacturing. Ensure departmental goals and processes align with organizational goals and objectives as well as customer support globally.
- Develop Victaulic’s valve design and product development, including support to procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quotations, and sales.
- Responsible to ensure the standard work processes and procedures drive the successful coordination of valves design for the valve markets, maintaining superior customer service and delivery, ensuring consistent communication throughout the process
- Identify and implement process changes and improvements to maximize the department efficiency and service levels.
- Identify and assist in the need to develop variations in standard products by working closely with Product Managers.
- Support Product Managers and Marketing with new product releases including information releases.
- Provide technical assistance to customers as required

**Qualifications**: (Education, Experience, Personal Attributes)
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
- Design experience with product and market knowledge.
- Proficient use of 3D software, SolidWorks preferred.
- Thorough understanding of the creating of detail drawings to fully convey form, fit, function along with most efficient manufacturability
- Knowledge of engineering design practices/principles, e.g. interference checks, fits, tolerance stack-up/dimensional analysis, GD&T.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company professionally and effectively. Possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with effective interaction at every level of an organization.
- Possess analytical and business acumen. Project management experience and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and creatively resolve issues and effectively prioritize workload and work concurrently on various projects.
- Willing to be flexible in schedule and travel overnight as required.
