Product Owner

**Description**:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Data Department within the Big Data Engineering team, focusing on Market Entries and Regulatory Reporting. In this critical role, you will lead the development and delivery of end-to-end regulatory data reporting solutions that ensure full compliance with a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.

You will be responsible for managing seamless integrations with multiple regulatory suppliers and external systems, enabling automated, accurate, and timely data exchanges. Working closely with compliance, technology, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product features that drive value and mitigate risk.

Additionally, you will oversee audit management processes, including preparation for regulatory audits, managing follow-up actions, and maintaining thorough documentation and traceability to meet stringent audit standards. Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory changes and market developments will be essential to continuously strengthen our compliance framework and uphold industry-leading standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for regulatory reporting solutions within the Big Data Engineering team, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product features.
- Oversee seamless integration of data flows between internal systems and multiple external regulatory suppliers, ensuring automated, accurate, and timely data exchanges.
- Audit Management: Prepare for regulatory audits by coordinating documentation, managing audit responses, tracking follow-up actions, and ensuring full traceability and compliance with audit standards.
- Work closely with data engineers, architects, compliance officers, and business units to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant regulatory reporting solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes, market developments, and industry best practices to proactively adapt and enhance the product to meet evolving compliance standards.
- Champion data quality, validation processes, and risk management practices to ensure the reliability and integrity of regulatory reports.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, regulatory impacts, and risk mitigation strategies.

**Skills, Knowledge & Expertise**:

- You have proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally within regulatory frameworks or data platform environments.
- You possess a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to market entries and are experienced in translating complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- You are familiar with big data architectures, data integration processes, and technologies, and understand how these support regulatory reporting.
- You have hands-on experience managing audit processes, including preparation, documentation, follow-up, and remediation tracking in a regulated environment.
- You thrive in Agile/Scrum teams, skilled at backlog management, sprint planning, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, compliance officers, and business stakeholders.
- You can effectively communicate complex regulatory and technical concepts to diverse audiences, bridging the gap between business, compliance, and technology teams.
- You stay up to date with the latest regulatory changes and market trends, proactively adapting product strategies to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.
- You are solution-oriented, continuously seeking opportunities to automate, optimise, and improve regulatory reporting processes.
