**Tender Team Supervisor - Iberia**

**Role location - Madrid, Spain**

As Tender Team Supervisor for Iberia region you will ensure efficient delivery of relevant sales support to the sales teams across Iberia. You will also act as escalation point for any operational or process issues that can’t be resolved by the other member of the sales support team in Iberia.

The role combines both managerial and process / administrative aspects. The contribution of the role is measured through Hologic’s Win rate in tenders and other commercial opportunities.

The role is office based in Hologic office in Madrid with flexibility to work from home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and drive the tender/quote process for the business divisions in Iberia ensuring the completion of all activities on time and to exemplary standards
- Line management of 2 direct reports in Spain and Portugal
- Act as primary escalation point for issues on tenders and quotations
- Primary operational interface on behalf of the team with Customer Service, Pricing Team and local sales management
- Proactively seek possibilities to learn and stay abreast of any changes in European tender law, Spanish and Portuguese local legislation, and compliance requirements
- Scan for all applicable Hologic opportunities, assemble the Tender response team, provide formal/administrative content of the Tender response and ensure timely submission through appropriate media
- Coordinate content of the local Knowledge database
- Interface with Hologic’s legal department and local legal counsel in cases of litigation/appeal
- Provide reporting on critical KPIs for internal organization and coordinate archiving of Contracts and Tender responses

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in the tender process from administrative and legal perspective (in Spain, and ideally also Portugal)
- Knowledge of Spanish tender law and experience with public tenders
- Knowledge of the European and local country procurement law and telematics platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a results-driven environment is essential
- Self-motivated, constantly challenging status quo and coming up with ideas for improvement
- Collaborative approach, ability to coordinate cross functional team work
- Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
