JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reporting directly to the Global Marketing Director, you will be a key member of our global Marketing, Communications & Digital Presence team, with responsibility for driving a new, proactive approach to Social Media as well as building up our profile to support business growth and generate opportunities to influence and advocate, by effectively positioning the company as an industry leader and key, responsible partner.
**Tasks**:
- Defining the Hotelbeds´ social media strategy & positioning for each of our client and supplier segments, helping drive reach and engagement for our social channels- Lead the development and implementation of a social media strategy that seeks to not only raise the profile of Hotelbeds but also to connect with key influencers and opinion leaders- Contribute to a social media strategy that spans social media networks, blogs, online communities, forums, review sites, and other outlets where we can engage with key target audience- Lead the delivery of social media activities globally and within specific target markets to effectively position Hotelbeds and Bedsonline commercially with supplier partners and clients- Supervise international social media accounts to ensure up-to-date content- Create and implement ongoing social media and communication campaigns on all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube) adapting content to suit different platforms and audiences- Leverage the profiles of the Executive Committee and senior leaders to further strengthen our corporate reputation and profile- Responsible for the creation and management of content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and to create copy with oversight from the team. He/She will also work with designers on the creation of assets, to build and manage communities around our portfolio global brands- Responsible for creative ideation, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long-form copywriting, reporting. For this, the Senior Manager will brief, oversee and sign off any work intended to be published on our social media accounts- Using storytelling techniques to create engaging and impactful materials that build awareness and reputation, in line with our wider business strategy and objectives- Work hand in hand with the Brand, Content & Creative teams, as well as Regional Marketing Managers, to make sure content and ideas are in line with creative strategy and fit for purpose for target audiences- Encourage collaboration across teams, markets and departments on social media strategy- Setting KPI’s for our strategy and monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms. Also, research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity- Propose and manage a budget for social media activities- Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices and train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy- Support the management and implementation of the external communication strategy globally, across all social media channels, to ensure that the profile of Hotelbeds is boosted and protected at a corporate and regional level
Skills needed:
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a related communications role, ideally gained in a large organization- Experience of delivering impactful end-to-end external relations activities, including PR, media and events- Understanding the use of research and data to inform the development of communication strategies- Ability to build strong collaborative and trusted relationships internally and externally at all levels- Effective internal and external stakeholder management and the ability to understand what each audience needs and wants for effective communication- Responsibility for delivering high-quality end-to-end communications plansHigh levels of discretion and emotional intelligence and
