**ROLE SUMMARY**:
An established international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced **French Teacher** to join its dynamic team from **late August 2026**. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to teach French across **Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2)** and up to and including **iGCSE level** within a supportive, high-performing environment.-
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Teach French to UKS2 pupils and iGCSE classes, ensuring high academic standards.-Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with curriculum expectations.-Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.-Contribute to curriculum development within the Modern Foreign Languages department.-Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.-Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ pastoral and academic development.-Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities as required.-
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).-
-Previous experience in an international or bilingual school setting is advantageous.-Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.-A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and high standards of professional practice.-Flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.-
