Industrial Project Engineer

Business unit Recycling within Aluminium Metal operates seven recycling plants and a scrap sorting plant, and we are aiming for no less than industry leadership in aluminium recycling.

We are looking for an** Industrial Projects Engineer**, managing the projects of several factories in the Guadalajara (Spain) area. Reporting to the Reliability and Project Manager, she/he will be in charge of organizing all the operations of the different projects, from the identification of needs and concept phase, to the production phase and final delivery to the different internal clients.

**Responsibilities**
- Participating in the initial phases of the project by collecting and agreeing URS from the different parties involved.
- Carrying out technical/economic feasibility studies of the projects
- Involve and lead both suppliers and internal clients in each of the phases of the project.
- Preparation and monitoring of the budget for each of the CAPEX, analysing the deviations found and proposing corrective measures.
- Supervise compliance with internal policies and procedures in terms of Occupational Risk Prevention and Quality and Environment.
- Coordinate actions in the factory during the execution phase of each project, resolving any contingencies that may arise.
- Guaranteeing the quality and delivery deadlines of each project.
- Management and coordination of the resources used in the project.
- Cross-cutting management of internal teams (global vision).
- Mobilization of resources to achieve objectives.
- Consider the validation criteria (quality, documentation, compliance with the regulations of each project, etc.).
- Facilitate the overall portfolio and budget management for the company’s projects
- Prepare and present documentation at decision gates for management approval in each phase of the projects

**Required Competence**
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial project management so that you can act autonomously in your day-to-day work.
- Be able to maintain a fluent conversation in English and Spanish, as he/she will be working with teams from different countries and both meetings and written communication may be in any of those languages.
- Academic background: University degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
- Training in project management will be an asset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Have great organizational skills and be able to create plans and meet deadlines.
- Resolute and able to identify the root cause of problems and look for alternative paths focusing on solutions.
