**Job Title**: Supplier Quality Engineer

**Location**: Barcelona, Spain

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct supplier qualification, certification, and ongoing assessments, ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
- Manage and resolve quality issues through escape management and corrective actions, using root cause analysis techniques such as Red-X and 8D.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address systemic product and process design issues related to supplier performance.
- Lead processes for supplier audits, source inspections, material release, and manage Corrective Action Boards.
- Conduct trend analysis and audits across suppliers in the region, identifying and addressing larger quality concerns.
- Lead supplier development initiatives to improve underperforming suppliers and ensure sustained compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with factories located outside Europe, resolving any supplier-related issues and conducting on-site audits as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Fluent English is required, and it will be the only language spoken at work.** Strong communication skills in English are essential for both written and verbal interactions.
- 3 -5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
- English proficiency
- Proven experience in supplier qualification, auditing, and quality issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as Red-X and 8D.
- Ability to lead supplier development and continuous improvement efforts.
- Willingness to travel for on-site supplier audits and quality assessments.
