**Job Description Summary**:

Role Summary/Purpose

The Global Director, Privacy Program and Compliance will develop, implement, and operate GE Vernova’s global data privacy and protection program. The role will report to the Chief Cyber and Privacy Counsel.

Essential Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and oversee GE Vernova’s privacy compliance framework ensuring an effective, auditable, and evidenced privacy program.
- Establish policy and procedures in relation to privacy, digital technology, and data protection to ensure required data privacy measures are implemented within GE Vernova.
- Develop, lead, and support the network of GE Vernova business unit privacy leaders, providing them with tools, guidance, and ongoing training to ensure that they are equipped to deliver the GE Vernova privacy program at the business unit level.
- Working with the Senior Counsel, Privacy and Cyber, guide and support GE Vernova and its business units on global laws, regulations, requirements, and practices in relation to data protection, privacy and digital technology matters impacting GE Vernova and its business units.
- Support and respond to internal and external audits and investigations in relation to privacy and digital technology ensuring that appropriate follow up actions are captured and executed.
- Lead training and education on privacy matters across GE Vernova.
- Collaborate with: other members of the GE Vernova Global Law & Policy team; the General Counsels and Compliance Leaders of GE Vernova’s business units; and other functions such as Human Resources, Cybersecurity, Sourcing, and Digital Technology.
- As needed, provide support on cybersecurity and digital technology matters, including artificial intelligence, for the Chief Cybersecurity and Privacy Counsel.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree from a recognized international institution or program.
- Knowledge of privacy management tools (e.g., TrustArc)
- Ability to work within an evolving, complex, and fast-moving environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management.
- Outstanding communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills.

Desired Characteristics
- IAPP certification (e.g., CIPP/M) or equivalent privacy certifications a plus.
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- International experience and outlook, proven track record of working on international issues directly or through coaching and support of regional colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for professional growth and development of expertise whether in direct area of expertise or in adjacent and developing areas, such as cybersecurity, digital technology, and artificial intelligence.
- Maintains confidentiality of information and exercises appropriate discretion.
- Works ethically and with integrity aligned with organizational goals and values.
