**What You Can Expect from the Role**

We have a unique opportunity to join our team as a Service Technician, working on lifeboats and other life saving equipment. The is a field based role so you won't be tied down to one site, you will travel to some very interesting places.

With excellent opportunities of development and progression, this is a an amazing opportunity to take the experience you already have already gained from working with life saving equipment, such as lifejackets or lifeboats etc, or from simply using such equipment whilst you have worked onboard ships or other marine vessels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** **Open and test the safety products, this includes weighing and repacking the equipment
- Inspecting the first aid kits, ensuring that all items enclosed are in date and working
- Labelling the products
- Raise suggestions to improve our products and processes
- Ensure assigned daily workload is achieved to meet targets
- Write up reports following the inspection and tests, submit to the admin team for processing

**The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have**

**Essential Criteria**
- ** **Experience in a similar field such as Lifeboat or Liferaft Technician **or**:

- ** **Experience in life saving equipment such as lifeboats or life jackets
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Appetite to deliver work schedule
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Willing to travel as and when required - this is a field based role
