The engineer will work closely with the delivery team to accurately record and communicate issues found during test phases and accurately record time spent on tasks during the project.

The engineer must adhere to the team processes and test standards already in place and develop an appreciation and understanding of test practices and principles.

You will work with a local cross functional Agile development team to deliver new product user stories for our global compliance cloud initiative. He/She will work very closely with other team members (BA, tester, developers, architect) and other agile team(s), liaising closely with internal stakeholders.

You will be part of a team inside Sage’s global Service Fabric organisation, located in multiple countries around the globe (UK, US, Poland, Spain, etc.). You’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on integration and enablement activities.

Responsabilidades principales

Key Tasks
- Awareness of the test automation framework and as a result create, execute and maintain efficient and effective test automation scripts
- Create and track test estimates for projects
- Liaise with local country experts for additional detail
- Demonstrate a level of comprehension of the system under test and gain an understanding of how customers use the products under test.
- Cooperate with other testing team community to assimilate new technologies and standards
- Collaborate with the delivery team to create source documents used for testing artefacts and create and maintain test artefacts that maximize the efficiency of the test phase, cover all requirements and allow for timely
- Take accountability for all test related activities within a test phase, accurately record and communicate risks and issues found during test phases
- To command the delivery process

Your Profile:

- Knowledge of Javascript
- Able to multi-task effectively, prioritize and plan own time to ensure deadlines are met
- Natural high level of attention to detail in all aspects of working
- Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Clear verbal and written communication style to enable conversations with all levels of stakeholder including direct customers and to ensure accurate issue recording
- A rapid ‘pick up and learn approach’ that will ensure valuable contribution to any team within days of joining the team
- Build successful relationships with all stakeholders in order to understand and communicate their needs.
- Technical / professional qualifications: ISTQB Foundation or equivalent
- Preferred but not compulsory:

- Experience in using Jira
- Experience in using automated testing frameworks
