Overview:
Mosaic is a Global-wide transformational program which is fundamentally evolving our planning and reporting capabilities, such that all BUs are on a single standardized planning platform, we enable real-time decision support, create efficiency including the reduction of bespoke Excel and PPT business reviews/reporting, and deliver a user-friendly, agile performance management tool.

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in the success of the Mosaic program. Mosaic is transforming the way FP&A teams work across PEP and the level of financial information available for the senior leadership teams.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for the development and execution of data quality plan, the understanding of data sources, systems, data flow to the solution, and communication and explanation of business requirements to the IT teams. Additionally, he/she will be key in assessing data compliance requirements and assisting local teams by supporting their data preparation to be MOSAIC ready.

The role will be within the FP&A Mosaic team and will require working closely with a diverse group of stakeholders including the IT, the Sector FP&A, the Cockpit and other functions teams (Net Revenue Management, Global Procurement, Coman, Supply Chain, etc.).

The role will be key to supporting the integration of Mosaic into Data Foundation. They will need to work very closely with local BU teams and DA team to help build solution enabling BU smooth adoption of new tool.

This role is part of the larger Mosaic planning & function finance team who are all based in different locations across the world. Given the team structure, and deployment roadmap, the successful applicant will need to be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in the home location and virtually with the broader team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Develop and execute Data preparation strategy**:

- Ensure Core Model is up to date with latest definitions (Global, Functional and Sector)
- Align dimensions/elements with different business functions
- Evaluate and understand potential link between dataset increasing potential business insights

**Communicate and explain business requirements**:

- Collaborate closely with IT/S&T teams to ensure business requirements from Mosaic leads and Sector FP&A teams are well-understood and translated into the design (Staging Area that will feed Mosaic)
- Gain knowledge on how data is being “consumed” by the end-users (analysts, senior leaders)
- Own Masterdata interaction (Product, Customer, Material Master)

**Data preparation**:

- Deep understanding of data quality requirements to be SPOT compliant
- Provide guidance and help in getting BU SPOT ready regardless of the origin and size of their data
- Create, develop and maintain training content for users, enabling them to achieve their accountabilities
- Drive data quality improvements to ensure appropriate reporting capabilities are delivered as part of the project.

Qualifications:

- Love for data and problem solving demanding sharp analytical skills to handle/evaluate large amount of data (strong attention to details); Ability to navigate from the “big picture” to the details translating quickly multiple stakeholders’ perspectives into clearly defined data quality requirements
- Strong communicator and a good people person given the need to collaborate effectively across teams and people of diverse backgrounds
- Pioneer and innovative mindset required as we are shaping the future of data use within PepsiCo - comfortable with the uncomfortable
- Technical competencies across a variety of software including: Tableau, Alteryx, SAP, Oracle, Power Steering, TM1 & Cognos and the drive to expand knowledge into new areas
- Familiarity with technical database structures and hierarchy as well as ability to structure highly complex concepts into simple execution
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to operate autonomously and proactively, managing multiple deliverables at a single time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Ability to navigate complex and varied processes across markets and their implication to the core model design for MOSAIC. Understand connections and ways to simplify, improve accuracy and visibility
- Willingness to engage at all levels of the organization and create a culture of pioneering, discovery, trust and dynamism; setting the agenda and taking others with you are two critical behaviors to deliver Mosaic.
- Work remotely with interactions with multiple markets throughout Europe
- Strong communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and cross functionally, verbally and in writing
- Strong written and verbal English.
