**ROLE SUMMARY**:
** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons that inspire students across KS3 and KS4.-Contribute to a strong departmental ethos built on purpose, high expectations, and a love of scientific learning.-Support the implementation of effective quality-assurance processes to ensure excellent teaching and learning.-Collaborate on the development of curriculum plans, schemes of work, and teaching resources.-Model exceptional classroom practice and support colleagues’ professional growth.-Ensure compliance with all school policies, including those for safeguarding, behaviour, health and safety, and professional conduct.-Provide appropriate work for classes in the event of staff absence and support whole-school duties as required.-Ensure that students meet or exceed progress and attainment targets in Science.-
**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
Bachelor’s degree and **Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)**.-Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Science within the **British National Curriculum** (UK or international).-Strong track record of excellent classroom practice and positive student outcomes.-Ability to use assessment effectively to guide planning and improve achievement.-Excellent communication skills and the ability to form positive working relationships.-
