Compositing Supervisor

The Compositing Supervisor works closely with the compositors and the VFX Supervisor to ensure the timely completion of shots for their shows. They will oversee all compositing aspects of a project-based, in-house visual effects production. Supervisors also complete and deliver shots when necessary.

Type of contract: Full-time employee, long-term contract. On-site job in one of our offices (Barcelona or Madrid). To start as soon as possible.

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Assign tasks to junior/mid/senior level artists and crew shots appropriately to their level of expertise
- Take responsibility for the quality of the work of the team as a whole
- Technical and artistic support to the team under their care
- Work proactively and collaboratively with all other VFX and support departments
- Attend client reviews and lead daily reviews with the compositing team
- Assistance to the VFX Supervisor with the planning of digital composition tasks for the Production department.

**Requirements**:

- More than 5 years of experience as a compositor. Nuke proficiency.
- Minimum of 3 years VFX industry experience in a supervisory role.
- Extensive compositing experience for film and episodic.
- Strong artistic background, eye for detail, and ability to communicate visual aspects to the team.
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to structure the workflow so that conceptual changes can be made efficiently.
- Fluent in Spanish and English language skills, spoken and in writing.
- Onset supervision experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Eligible to work in Spain.
