Warehouse Operations Manager

You will part of the MOVUS Country Team having the overall responsibility for warehouse operations and agreed performance levels. You will report directly to Cluster Manager and your key responsibilities are:

- Ensure that Getir Distribution Center Operations (goods receipt, warehouse management, stocking, reverse logistics) are carried out according to the KPIs and criteria agreed with Getir
- Receive regular requirements and feedback from Getir management and embed in operational plans, solve problems regarding requests deviating from contractual terms
- Build and manage the warehouse team of Operations Specialists, Shift Supervisors, Food Engineer and Operations Employees including their budget and effective operation
- Own and continuously improve warehouse processes: receiving of goods, storage, preparing orders, reverse logistics, stock management, and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Follow actual costs and determined KPIs daily and take the necessary improvement actions
- Ensure that all processes, procedures and HSE standards are being followed as well as legal and regulatory compliance and that we operate with a continuous improvement mind set

QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience
- Excellent command of the local language as well as proficiency in English,

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Experience in a multi-national company in logistics sector
- Management experience, ideally in an FMCG environment in a similar role with a good understanding of procedures and compliance regarding warehouse operations for ambient and cold-chain consumer products
- Experience with warehouse space and process design, shelf systems, cold storage rooms, warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks) and WMS
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
- Stress tolerance - maintaining a calm and positive attitude during stressful situations
- Strong team player
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Multitasking between two to three primary projects at a time
- Flexibility in working hours and no travel restrictions
