**Research Technician**

**Neurovascular Research Laboratory**

VHIR's offers a contract to work as a **Research Technician** within the Neurovascular Research Group.

Ourlab is focused in stroke research from a basic and translational point of view. The group is composed by

a young and highly motivated group of researchers: neurologists, biologists, technicians, statisticians,

psychologists and nurses. Our work is divided into four lines of research: Biomarkers, Prevention,

Neurorepair and Amyloid. This position will give support to a European projects in Biomarkers and

Neuroprotection line.**_ _**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree related in Health Sciences or similar.
- M.Sc (Master of Science) in Translational Biomedicine Research or similar.

**Desired**:

- Fluent English.

**Experience and knowledge:
**Required**:

- Experience in immunoassays techniques, ELISA.
- Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, Stata, R and other databases are desirable.

- Previous experience in a biomedical research laboratory.
- Experience in collection and storage of biological specimens.
- Personal skills: well-organized, methodical, proactive and aptitude for teamwork.**
**Desired**:

- Strong background in neurosciences.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Biosamples collection and management.
- Writing reports, statistical analyses and results interpretation.
- Perform laboratory assays such as ELISA.
- Assist the research team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: Immediate.
- Gross annual salary: € 10.378,89. (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are

consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract**:Permanent linked to project.
