**The Role**

Network Security Lead:

- Identify security gaps, driving initiatives to remediation
- Coordinate with IAG Tech teams, business units and vendor support teams to deliver a network and cloud security service
- Lead activity to enhance IAG’s overall security posture around network security controls
- Lead all activities connected to the management and maintenance of endpoints protected by cloud-based solutions, as the Subject Matter Expert
- Interface with Data Centre exit program team to coordinate migration activities and be involved in service design
- Protect information systems against unauthorised access
- Analyse threats, make detailed and informed continuous improvement proposals, implementing mitigation strategies on behalf of IAG’s operating companies
- Troubleshoot network and cloud security incidents and lead investigation
- Collaborate with the wider Security Engineering team, contributing to services delivered

**Accountabilities**
- Defines operational security strategic requirements, for embedding new IT security processes across the Group.
- Monitors the information security status across the Group and its operating companies.
- Manages the operational security requirements across different technologies and operating companies. Anticipates, investigates and resolves security operational issues, developing remedial solutions that ensure the integrity and availability of systems.
- Performs an assurance and governance operational service level through regular and deep local security audits, ensuring adherence to the Security Engineering strategy. Provides thorough testing and event schedules ensuring a robust and fit for purpose service.
- Provides a defined 24x7 first response process, escalating incidents as required.
- Provides management reporting through appropriate metrics on known incidents.
- Contributes to the management of operational security and system access management initiatives, promoting security best practice across the Group.
- Works collaboratively, through a trusted business partnering consultative approach, proactively leveraging key relationships with Group IT, and key business stakeholders across the Group. Interfaces with strategic third-party service providers, regulatory, compliance and audit bodies.

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

**Skills**:

- Robust problem and incident management to deliver integrity and availability of systems.
- Knowledge of IT Security operational capability and industry standard solutions.
- Senior stakeholder management, with a proven ability of influencing and persuading internally and externally.
- Ability to recognise operational priorities and guide others towards the accomplishment of strategic business goals and objectives.
- Innovation - transforming industry trends into practical, cost effective, secure, scalable and supportable IT security solutions.
- Fluent English and Spanish.

**Experience**
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex operational security assurance and compliance services.
- Deep understanding of the IT Security Engineering environment, with proven ability to develop and improve services.
