Summary
Sarena de Muro Mallorca Resort Destination by Hyatt is looking for a well-experienced Executive Chef who will manage the overall operations of the hotel’s Culinary department. In this role, you will ensure that the department operates efficiently while maintaining a level of service. You will provide directions that are aligned with the Corporate Strategy and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate. You will be responsible for the optimal utilization of resources and ensure that associates are equipped with the proper product and service training that will allow them to be their best every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented kitchen team across on-site restaurants, bars, and a robust banqueting operation capable of hosting events for our guests.
- Oversee the culinary program. You will create and execute menus that complement its vibrant offerings and enhance its role as a cultural hub.
- Design and execute menus that blend local flavors with global culinary trends, celebrating Mallorca’s rich culinary heritage while pushing boundaries.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Drive kitchen operations, including cost control, staff training, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
**Qualifications**:
- Progressive career in Culinary gained in a luxury resort property or Michelin-starred restaurants, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive Kitchen management, menu planning and operational skills
- Proficiency in food and safety standards
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Passion for working with people
