Engagement Coordinator

2+ years or equivalent experience working in a project environment in a PMO (Project Management Office) or Project Coordination role.
- Experience analyzing data, and building project reports for internal and external customers.
- Experience presenting project and solution topics to different audiences including technical experts, project managers and line of business leaders.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.

Job summary

Do you have experience as project coordinator and want to learn new skills to get the job done? Do you want to become an Agile professional and learn how to run projects at scale? You will work in high performing project teams to deliver business outcomes to AWS customers. In this customer facing position, you will manage areas of projects including financial management, resource planning, delivery best practices, Agile ceremonies, project management system and reporting. Working with the AWS Professional Services engagement leaders, you will provide reporting on burn rates, risk, expense consumption and project health. You will work with business leadership across our portfolio of projects for customer across multiple industries. You will contribute to Delivery mechanisms improvements as directed by the EMEA ProServe leadership. Your analysis of data associated with project health will contribute to the development of our EMEA strategy and drive impact against our Professional Services business objectives. You will recognize and adopt best practices in delivery of outcomes, reporting and analysis, including data integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation.

This is a customer-facing role. When appropriate and safe, we may occasionally ask you to visit our Madrid office and to travel to client locations in EMEA to deliver professional services.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborating with engagement leaders, partner teams, and customer teams to deliver successful customer outcomes in projects.
- Support engagement managers with financial management by forecasting and tracking revenue, cost and margin including AWS ProServe and partner team members.
- Resource planning in conjunction with the engagement managers and resource managers, including forecasting and tracking of labour hours consumption, skills planning and onboarding of new team members.
- Along with the programme manager, tailor the delivery framework to the specific needs of the customer, and subsequently foster the adoption of delivery best practices by the engagement managers in the programme.
- Assisting with tracking and measuring programme effectiveness and organizational productivity.
- Drive the Agile ceremonies as needed: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, etc. Drive and participate in other required customer meetings.
- Configure the project management system and keep it up to date with scope of work, tasks assignment, milestones achievement and informational content.
- Provide reports to internal and external stakeholders on project health, financials, delivery progress, risks and issues.
- Working with engagement managers to ensure data quality of the project information and status reports in our project management systems.
- Supporting risk management activities.
- Lead selected projects as engagement manager.
- Provide feedback on improvements of the Delivery Health mechanism and the delivery framework, and drive selected improvement initiatives.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Experience working in an Agile team, and knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
Understanding of the value proposition of the public cloud
- Experience in projects delivering software, IT infrastructure or IT services
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (i.e. Lean Six Sigma)
- French language command at business level is a plus
