The **System Chemistry Group **at **IMDEA Nanociencia** is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team. This position is part of a European national project aimed at developing supramolecular robots based on single fiber bundles and studying their interactions when mechanically pushed against one another. This project will serve as an integrative platform to bring together so far disjoint concepts in Supramolecular Systems Chemistry and Swarm Robotics, to bring us closer to biological-like functions in fully artificial chemical systems.
- Develop numerical simulations and data analysis.
- Model the mechanics of a mixture of multiple swarms of small robots and study the ensemble-level behavior due to different driving-induced fluctuations.
- Use MATLAB and C++
- Supervise PhD and MSc students.
- Work closely with the principal investigator and team members to maintain a high level of scientific productivity.
- Prepare, present, and report research results and publish scientific results in key peer-reviewed journals in due time.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
- PhD Degree in Material Science, Computational Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or similar.
- Solid background in Supramolecular Chemistry.
- A committed team player.
- A highly motivated and autonomous person dedicated to conducting high-quality research.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
