Customer Quality Leader

**Job Description Summary**: The Customer Quality Leader - Offshore for LM Wind Power will primarily be responsible for developing and implementing cross-functional action-plans to improve the strategic partnership with LM’s offshore customers and end-customers on proactive and reactive Quality improvement efforts. The role will be part of extended Global Quality leadership team at LM.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Own the relationship with Quality stakeholders within customer and end-customer organizations
- Lead the team of customer quality liaisons in offshore plants. Provide clear direction and visioninspire and motivate stakeholders towards a “customer success” oriented quality culture
- Establish the Net Promoter Score (NPS) process for Offshore customers / end-customers and maintain a view of action-plans to improve scores
- Partner with NPI Engineering, New Introductions Quality & Regional/Global Operations Quality leaders on Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new product introductions to maximize customer impact
- Partner with Quality Engineering & Regional/Global Operations Quality leaders on root cause analysis and related customer communication for non-conformities and quality issues to enhance transparency
- Implement robust operating mechanism to pace progress. Utilize lean tools and data to arrive at key decisions and reach cross-functional trade-offs. Contextualize framing of the decisions based on cross-functional input
- Lead operating rigor on non-conformances. Own corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Explain complex topics; develop skills to bring team members to consensus. Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
**Required Qualifications**
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background with significant relevant experience and performance track-record in business operations, quality, sales or other customer facing roles, preferably in Wind industry
- Strategic business mindset with strong customer relationship management ability to influence and resolve customer dynamics through logical/technical reasoning and clear/concise communication
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
**Desired Characteristics**
- Experience within Offshore wind industry, along with thorough techno-commercial understanding of Offshore Services business models
- Strong techno-commercial expertise with skillful communication and proven ability to achieve outcomes through complex negotiations
- Clear thinker with proven ability to develop and utilize data for complex and structured problem-solving
- Proven collaboration skills within a matrix organization with strong and reliable, cross-functional internal network within Offshore Wind industry
- Skilled communicator, both internally and externally (customers and industry)
