**Our team**

We are entrepreneurial, and, inherently, we like to work hard. We enjoy all the challenges of scaling a global technology and logistics business, and we face them with ambition.

The engineering team has a flat management structure. The teams are organized by functional areas. Technical decisions are made as a team taking in the feedback and thought process of the engineers. Team members are free to move between different teams based on the feedback of their team members and the status of their projects.

We follow agile practices like sprint planning, daily standup, and retrospectives through Slack and perform pair programming sessions and engineering talks.
**About the job **‍‍**

Your main responsibilities would include:

- Leading the quality assurance team and being accountable for its performance; mentorship and feedback to all team members on performance
- Working closely with product, technology and engineering teams to ensure build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing
- Managing the curation of performance test strategies and test plans; ensure that system requirements and specs are translated into test requirements and testing methods
- Leading an automation first approach to ensure that tests are automated where feasible and that automated and real-time test feedback is given to test recipients

**What are we looking for?**‍‍**

You would be responsible for leading the team, taking care of team members' development, and expanding the existing model to meet Paack's future QA needs. For this reason, we would like you to have:

- Previous experience in leading and managing QA teams
- Have defined and implemented an overall test strategy in an agile development environment
- Created a framework to ensure quality feedback to teams to improve their development processes
- Experience in the implementation of test automation and test automation technologies
- Ideally, experience in working and managing teams in a start/scale-up company
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility to adapt to changes, can multitask at different levels and enjoys a fast-paced environment
