We are building our **maintenance branch**: the organisation that will keep every robot running, every customer supported, and every franchise successful. This branch will be the cornerstone of operational excellence, and we are now looking for a **Maintenance Engineer**to bring it to life.

**Role Description**

Seconded by a Software Engineer, you will work towards the creation and operation of our Maintenance branch. As its **Maintenance Engineer**, you will be the versatile player able to troubleshoot hardware, automation, control systems, and basic software, whilst keeping an overview on project evolution.

In the early stage, you will be learning to understand our technology inside-out whilst providing direct technical support in our first restaurant. This hands-on experience will help you structuring maintenance processes in order to guarantee optimised uptime. Over time, you will build and lead the team that supervises maintenance operations.

In time, your mission will be to establish and pilot the maintenance branch that guarantees full-time robot availability, delivers hands-on and remote support to franchisees, and anticipates technical and operational challenges. The branch is simultaneously tasked with B2B and B2C support.

With an entrepreneur mindset, you’ll be requested to make defining decisions that will define the strategy of a keystone of our business model.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Gain a holistic understanding of our autonomous pizza-making unit, troubleshoot operational failures linked to hardware;
- Define and execute the maintenance operating model (preventive / reactive processes, escalation flows...) from scratch, building towards a unit able to supervise multiple sites and to provide efficient support to our Pazzirias;
- Build and lead the maintenance team as it scales from a handful of staff to a branch focused on operations;
- Deliver direct technical guidance to franchise staff through live remote support and hardware data monitoring;
- Analyse data for preventive maintenance;
- Act as a technical bridge between operations and R&D, contributing field insights to technology optimisation and next-gen design;

Your onboarding will happen as our technology is being fitted out in our Madrid store. You'll be able to see things in detail, and learn quickly.
- Opening:_

The world will soon get a taste of our PAZZI's pizzas Once the store opens, you will be liaising with our factory engineers to troubleshoot on-site failures. This will help you better understand our operational needs, and you'll start working on your central mission: the conceptualisation and build-up of our maintenance branch.

Once this flagship store is successfully launched, your focus will shift towards scaling the maintenance model into a network of Pazzerias across Europe and the Middle East. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and consistent technological standards at every new location. Together with our central team and a network of local technicians ready to provide on-site support when required, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the success of our international roll-out.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Automation & Robotics Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or similar;
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or field engineering, with proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment on-site;
- Track record of working on projects through their full life cycle, from initial design and structuring to successful rollout and execution;
- Ability to conceptualise and structure needs by translating non-technical input (from HQ) into effective technical solutions;
- Analytical mindset, ability to anticipate technical and logístical needs and come up with operational solutions;
- Strong coordination skills, ability to work simultaneously with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
