**Job Description**:
You’ll be responsible for developing and organising requirements into structured programmes of work and delivering approved I&T Portfolio initiatives, while effectively managing globally distributed teams of Project Managers and Business Analysts.

Key stakeholders to this role will be across Regional I&T Leads, Product Owners, Platform and Infrastructure delivery teams. Reporting to the Global CIO, the role requires close collaboration with the Transformation Office and Office of the CIO.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Portfolio Management:

- Work actively with peer Programme Leads, Product and Platform managers to develop a consistent Brambles Programme Delivery methodology which uses appropriate techniques to drive more Agile and effective Business and Technology change.
- Establish and maintain effective, approved and Agile based, programme management methodologies, tools, and processes to ensure iterative and incremental delivery of value across your programmes of work.
- Foster a culture of Agile mindset, continuous improvement, and adaptability within the programme teams.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, sponsors, and project teams, fostering collaboration, transparency, and effective communication throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Interface with Product, Platform and Infrastructure delivery teams to ensure Agile principles are understood and followed, promoting collaboration and fast feedback loops.

Requirements Analysis, Design, and Delivery:

- Conduct user story mapping and facilitate backlog refinement sessions with business analysts and stakeholders to define programme objectives, features, and priorities.
- Emphasize iterative and incremental delivery of working software or solutions, ensuring frequent stakeholder feedback and validation.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and project teams to continuously refine and prioritize the programme backlog based on changing business needs and feedback.

Resource and Budget Management:

- Define team structures and resource requirements, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, self-organization, and efficient utilization of resources across Project lifecycles within the assigned Programme of works. Use approved methods to do this consistently with your peers.
- Lead Project Managers and Platform teams to establish release plans, iterations, and sprint backlogs, taking into account resource availability and capacity.
- Monitor and manage programme budgets, tracking team velocity, burn rate, and budget utilization, while embracing Agile principles of adapting plans based on feedback and value delivery.

Risk and Issue Management:

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to address risks, issues, and impediments.
- Promote a culture of transparency and collaboration to encourage proactive risk mitigation and effective issue resolution.

Governance, Compliance, and Reporting:

- Establish and maintain Programme governance practices that align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
- Implement agreed and effective reporting mechanisms, such as sprint and release burn-down charts, velocity metrics, and stakeholder dashboards, to provide transparency on programme progress and value delivery.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure Brambles methodology principles are understood, and supported, within the I&T Operating Model governance framework.

Team Management and Performance:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Project teams, encouraging self-organization, collaboration, and high-performance across multi-discipline team structures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging Agile techniques for teams to reflect on their practices and make appropriate adjustments.
- Empower teams to experiment, innovate, and deliver value iteratively, while ensuring a balance between autonomy and alignment with programme objectives.
