Currently we are looking for a **Life Safety Systems Commissioning Technician**to join us within the **datacentre** industry in **Madrid, Spain.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Life Safety Systems (LSS) commissioning activity
- Commission and functionally test life safety systems, including fire alarm, smoke detection, access control and emergency power interfaces
- Develop and execute commissioning test scripts in accordance with project specifications, codes, and commissioning plans
- Verify system integration with BMS, EPMS, security, and fire suppression systems
- Witness and document acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), integrated systems testing (IST), and AHJ demonstrations
- Identify deficiencies, track issues, and verify corrective actions through re-testing
- Review design documents, submittals, and as-built drawings for compliance and constructability
- Produce detailed commissioning reports, test records, and turnover documentation
- Support owner training, system handover, and final acceptance

**Authority**:

- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience commissioning and testing life safety systems, including fire alarm, detection, and suppression systems
- Electrical or Instrumentation trade qualification, with field experience supporting system testing and integration
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents, commissioning plans, sequences of operations
- Proficient in developing commissioning test procedures, documenting results, tracking deficiencies, and producing formal commissioning reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
