Spain IT Production

Spain IT Production organization consists of CIB ITO & ITG IT Platforms and is responsible for providing IT Production services to our Clients in EMEA, ensuring a Digital Market evolution, in a secured and performant environment, and with a reliable quality. IT Production organisation includes Infrastructure services, Telecom & Workspace, Production Security and Application Production domains and associated transversal services (CTO Office, Control Tower, PMO and IT Continuity). In Spain, IT Production relies on a Platform with over 400 experts that provide full-stack support services ensuring a secure, stable, standardized, and efficient production.

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

As Telecom graduate in the EMEA Telecom and Datacenter area, the applicant will be part of the EMEA Campus network group, which is responsible for the production, monitoring and the engineering of the BNP Paribas European campus network services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Telecom graduate:
Manage and maintain physical telecommunications infrastructure, including campus buildings datacentres POPs, technical rooms, communication lines, and network equipment.

Oversee wired, Wi-Fi, and datacentre network infrastructures, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and security protocols.

Manage the BAU task on the Campus network.

Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services and support.

Manage the design and deployment of new sites/branches and new technologies that were accepted by BNP Paribas.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in all of the EMEA countries

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless networks.

Knowledge & basic experience with all dynamic routing protocols, as well as MPLS, VPLS, VRF

Knowledge & basic experience in network management tools and technologies, such as network monitoring systems, configuration management, and performance analysis tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge & basic experience of wireless RF design, troubleshooting and security.

Knowledge & basic experience in LAN & WAN security

**SKILLS**:
Superior technician in Telecommunications or similar relevant field

Understanding networking, routing and switching

Excellent communication

Analytical thinker and problem solver

Attention to details

LANGUAGES

High English spoken and written fluent (B2/C)

French spoken and written will be valued

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Superior technician in Telecommunications or equivalent in similar relevant field
