**Dear reader**:
**This is a founding-stage collaboration, not a replacement for your current profession**. It is designed for someone who **already has a stable life and career**, but feels the **need to build something more meaningful**alongside it.

If you are **drawn to the audiovisual world, carry a serious love for films and series**, and can imagine creating something that begins discreetly and grows into something significant over the next two to three years, you may be in the right place.

**This project is a marathon and we will fail more than once**:it starts from zero, without institutional backing or external protection. Progress will not be linear, and certainty will be rare. The work requires **someone who understands that failure is part of the path**, who can help adjust course when needed, and who keeps moving forward when conditions change.

**You must also be comfortable with a long horizon**. Realistically, this is not something to live off in the short term. **The transition toward meaningful economic return would come between year three and year five**. Money is not the driver here; it is the outcome of good decisions, discipline, and endurance.

**The project follows a true startup philosophy**: Progress comes through iteration, experimentation, correction, and persistence. Roles evolve, assumptions are tested, and structure is built only when necessary.

At its core, this venture is about **building an audiovisual project from the ground up** — developing structure, strategy, and creative foundations that can support meaningful content and scale over time, without relying on existing industry machinery.

**The role**

This is a **Deputy, Operations and Strategy role during the founding phase**.

You will work closely with me, helping to **build and shape the project as it evolves**. This includes thinking through **strategy, phases, and execution** — what needs to be built first, what comes next, and how growth should unfold over time — while **helping navigate uncertainty** and **translate that thinking into structure,** priorities, and concrete next steps.

A central part of the role is **operations**. Together, we will **define what needs to exist at each phase of the project**: the type and number of **collaborators** required, when they are needed, and how responsibilities should be structured over time. This requires a **solid understanding of company operations and basic business economics**— how costs, resources, timing, and structure interact — so that growth is deliberate, realistic, and sustainable.

This is **not a traditional managerial position**. It is a **foundational role** based on trust, judgment, and proximity to the core of the project.

- **Industry understanding**: you understand the political, complex, and constantly changing nature of the audiovisual world
**- Economics & operations**:
Solid understanding of company economics (costs, structure, sustainability, trade-offs)
**- Execution**: you are a hands-on doer, not only a thinker; you are comfortable turning ideas into concrete actions
**- Marketing sense**: you have well-established marketing concepts and understand positioning, audience-building, and traction at an early stage
- **Experience, skeletons & scars**: you have real experience, including successes and failures, and accept failure as part of the journey
- **Resilience**: you do not quit when things get difficult; you reassess, adjust, and continue
- **Loyalty**: you understand your role and its scope and commit seriously over time
- **Mindset**: can-do attitude; **no naysaying** — you ask instead “how can we do this?”
- **Thinking style**: strategic, imaginative, comfortable thinking outside the box, solution-oriented
- **Uncertainty**: calm and effective under uncertainty and pressure
- **Communication**: clear, constructive, and positive
- **Languages**: good command of English required; additional languages welcome (Spanish, French, German, Catalan are a plus)
- **Commitment**: you can reliably dedicate at least **five hours per week** and understand this is a long-term build, with the potential to become your **main professional focus within 24 months**, and fully so from year three onward
