Wolters Kluwer Global Business Services (GBS) is responsible for improving the quality and performance of the internal technology infrastructure, while driving global financial and operational excellence programs. Currently, we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Operations Analyst to be part of our team.

**Profile**:

Responsible for meeting with the IT manager to discuss company processes, designing the structure of enterprise level IT systems, overseeing the project implementation, and measuring the performance of the new system.
- The role require to have extensive knowledge of enterprise networking systems, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. Although not in the direct ownership a previous experience or equivalent skillset as technical architect is required to validate the supplier proposal.
- Meeting with the internal IT Manager to determine the company’s current and future needs. Determining whether the current system can be upgraded or if a new system needs to be installed. Providing the company with design ideas and schematics. Project managing the design and implementation of the system.
- Meeting with the software developers to discuss the system software needs. Troubleshooting systems issues as they arise. Overseeing all the moving parts of the system integration. Measuring the performance of the upgraded or newly installed system. Training staff on system procedures. Providing the company with post-installation feedback.
Interfacing and coordinating the 3rd parts cooperating on service provisioning. Validate the service reports and SLA and make sure the service is provided according to the expected contract.

Key Responsibilities:

- Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties
Research, analyze, develop and document new processes and procedures to implement new solutions to meet future problem resolution needs
- Responsible for proactively communicating upcoming infrastructure changes to management and end-users where needed

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years working in IT Infrastructure & Operations or other equivalent experience
- In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge related to IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight
- Strong understanding of business processes and how to leverage standard system capabilities to support them
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships
- Middleware technology: Apache Tomcat, Jboss, WildFly, WebSphere
- Database: Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server
- Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Servers [must have], Linux [preferred]
- Virtualization: VmWare, HyperV
- Cloud: Azure, AWS [knowledgeable]
- Service Operations: ITIL v3/v4
