GMV is managing the maintenance and evolution of the Galileo Ground Control Segment (GCS), in charge of controlling the Galileo constellation. The GCS functions are mainly focused on the satellite platform monitoring & control, planning and automation by means of Telemetry Tracking and Control stations links.

You will join the Galileo GCS Engineering team, devoted to GCS design management; the engineering team is in charge of analyzing the system high level requirements in order to generate the logical architectural design as the starting point for all the project design activities. Some tasks include:

- System architecture design (from high level functions to detailed design including HW, SW and virtualization)
- System evolution (R+D)
- Requirements management
- Generation and maintenance of engineering documentation (Design, interfaces, plans, requirements, technical notes...)
- Technical support for other GCS teams (development, subcontractors, cybersecurity, integration and deployment )
- Interaction with client (European Space Agency) and subcontractors (within Europe), including attendance to reviews, formal test milestones execution/supervision, etc.
- Depending on the background experience and capabilities, different roles and responsibilities are available.
