Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with partners translating business requirements into appropriate Azure technical services and solutions;
- Collaborate with other EMEA sales and pre-sales teams to drive business results, enhance win rates and better customer propositions;
- Present and articulate features and benefits of Azure technology solution to business and technical partners as well as Cx level;
- Create and deliver presentations, customized demonstrations, seminars and workshops to partners
- Design, plan and deliver Azure Services Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept
- Become the technical solution expert for a designated Azure technology area;
- Maintain up to date Microsoft Azure certifications as continuous development of expertise;

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a professional with solid experience as **Solution Architect**, able to understand the customer issues in the software infrastructure space, to design solutions that match the evolving market needs and with a deep competence in all the technologies typically involved in a modern architecture for the digital transformation and roadmap to cloud.

Knowledge and background in enterprise scale **infrastructure architecture, data architecture, middleware architecture, cloud architecture (IaaS & PaaS), and specific Azure services and technology is strongly preferred.**

**Skills required**:

- Thorough understanding of infrastructure (hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience in IT and a background including architecture, implementation and delivery of large-scale hardware and software systems in real-world situations (Lift & Shift, Cloud Native Development, Cloud Security, Hybrid Cloud integration).
- Wide knowledge of IT market and trends.
- Significant Clevel presentation experience;
- Specific knowledge of Azure industry solutions;
- Azure Expert level certifications
- Hands on experience with Azure and strong understanding of Azure capabilities and limitations;
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability in Azure;
- Knowledge of different Public Cloud Providers stack (ideally);
Experience on PowerCLI / Powershell /Automation capabilities (ideally);
**Required qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
- Background from pre-sales, inside sales, or as a consultant;
- Proven experience working in the IT industry as Technical Architect, Solution Architect or Engineer;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential;
- Fluent in English
