Hubbell Research is responsible for conceiving of, maturing, and demonstrating novel technologies to be used throughout Hubbell’s extensive product line. We are conducting applied research in power system sensing, analysis, and control. This requires extremely talented, highly motivated, and productive researchers with both breadth and depth of expertise in:
- Data analytics: ML/AI, Distributed computing, Data science

Expertise in Power systems and Signal processing is also highly desirable.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual research in energy distribution sensing, analysis, and control.
- Conduct laboratory and field experiments to test hypotheses. Analyze data collected in this way to prove or disprove hypotheses.
- Implement newly developed technologies in prototype platforms for experimentation and demonstration.
- Provide written documentation of research.
- Communicate research to stakeholders throughout Hubbell, industry, and academia.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Outstanding critical thinking skills
- A penchant for thinking creatively about problems with no known solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to a breadth of audiences

**Education**:

- Bachelors Degree in Mathematics or Information Systems- Masters Degree in Mathematics or Information Systems
