- Mission
- We are now looking for a Buyer to join our Europe Team in our client based in Barcelona.- Define, communicate and ensure Category long Term Vision implementation. Responsible for delivering business advantages: economy of scale, Cost Efficiency, identify and support productivity projects, and Innovation. The categories managed will be meat and corrugated paper among others.Role & Responsibilities:
Strategy- Define sourcing map and Market Strategy
- Establish Governance and Control guaranteeing transparency and purchasing execution
- Defining Purchasing coverage for each purchasing group
- Monitor World Wide trends for the corresponding Group Market Intelligence
- Procurement Risk Management
- Innovation Hunters from Supply Market
Planning- Responsible for Global Budgeting
Execution:
- Manage Supplier Relationships, negotiation and Contracting
- Responsible for Material TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and cost visibility
- Requirements- University degree or engineering diploma
- Experience: 5 years’ experience in a similar position in food manufacturing company, specifically in purchasing meat categories
- Used to operate in International markets and Multinational Companies
- Fluency in English and desirable French (but not mandatory)
- SAP knowledge desirable
